In the United States, 47 million people experience food insecurity. 22% of University of Illinois students suffer from a lack of access to nutritious food.
Without enough food, people can have difficulty concentrating, have low energy, or miss school and work due to illness. Food insecurity can also hurt people's mental health and result in depression, anxiety, and stress.
Access to healthy foods can help our students succeed in their studies and keep them on the path to graduation.
Donate now to ensure that all College of Media students have access to healthy and nutritious food!
