Gifts to Support Illini Students with Children contribute to...
Balancing academics while raising a child is a tremendous challenge. Student parents at the University of Illinois juggle coursework, childcare, food security, stable housing, and peer connections—all while striving for a better future for themselves and their families.
The Students with Children Network provides essential support by offering peer connections, meals, child-centered learning experiences, and critical resources to help student parents thrive. But we need your help to expand these opportunities and ease the burdens student parents face.
Your gift makes an immediate difference:
- $250 provides 10 spots in an after-school program for student-parent families in University Housing.
- $250 funds a Student Parent Meet-Up, offering meals, support, and connection.
- $250 provides a meal for 10 student-parent families, ensuring food security at key events.
There are 86 student-parent households with 167 children living in University Housing alone. With your support, we can create a stronger, more connected community where student parents don’t have to choose between their education and their children’s well-being.
Give today and help student parents succeed—because when student parents thrive, their children do too.
