Gifts to Support the Native American House Encouragement Dinner! contribute to...
The Native American House (NAH) is raising funds to support the sustainability of the NAH Encouragement Dinner, a spring semester program for students. As the semester comes to a finish, students are juggling final projects, exams, and looming deadlines. To help students finish their academic year strong, the NAH serves as an important source of support by cultivating uplifting, positive social connections.
With your support, every donor will help create a space of encouragement for students to finish their semester strong and achieve long-term goals, including purchasing food and program supplies.
Near the end of each academic year, the NAH invites Indigenous keynote speakers to recall, reflect on, and narrate their student experiences in higher education during the Encouragement Dinner.
Speakers address topics such as:
- adjusting to campus life
- factors contributing to a sense of belonging
- accessing the right pathways toward degree completion
Speakers conclude their storytelling by emphasizing the value of higher education and offering encouragement to students at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
We encourage you to give and/or share this campaign in support of the NAH with your coworkers, friends, family, and social networks. Your support is appreciated by the Native American House staff!
