Currently there are over 700 students majoring or minoring in music at our School of Music. Additionally, thousands of students participate every year in music ensembles and classes at the University of Illinois. The reach is far and wide, covering nearly all majors on campus!

Your gifts make a difference for our students!

• $1000 could help with the expenses to bring in a living composer or guest artist/speaker to work with our students.
• $500 could pay for a new set of 4 musician rehearsal chairs for our outstanding concert and jazz bands, orchestras, choirs, world music, and other ensembles.
• $250 could purchase a microphone for recording recitals, concerts, rehearsals, field research, and studio recordings
• $100 could purchase two new metal framed music stands or pay for one of our students to register and participate in a music education conference.
• $50 could pay to replace woodwinds reeds, valve oil, and music supplies for our music students.
• $25 could provide refreshments to four music students on Reading day and exam week each semester.
